Approximately 10 of us bundled up to tackle the chilly morning to see about finding us some Fungi to photography. While chilly, we couldn’t ask for a nicer day to wonder round Sanitorium Lake and the scrubland surrounding it looking for Fungi
While it appeared that it was a little early in the fungi season this year, we still managed to get a good variety of fungi – you just had to really look for it!
Having done this last year, I took a different approach this year and was very happy with my efforts. You definitely need either a tripod, or some light to help with those slow shutter speeds that end up being required as you are often in the shadows of trees and bush trying to get that elusive photo! As always, it was a great learning curve and a thoroughly enjoyable morning!
