On a rather dubious winter’s day with the threat of rain in the background, a few members took the trip over to Toolangi State Forest, about one and a half hour’s drive from our neck of the woods. The walkabout giving us the chance to check out the local bird life and lovely talk Mountain

In June we headed to Mt Monument Winery to take photos of the sculptures that have been erected over the last year or two by the owner. Art is definitely in the eye of the beholder, but no matter your interest or knowledge in art, you can’t say that some of these sculptures are amazing
Approximately 10 of us bundled up to tackle the chilly morning to see about finding us some Fungi to photography. While chilly, we couldn’t ask for a nicer day to wonder round Sanitorium Lake and the scrubland surrounding it looking for Fungi While it appeared that it was a little early in the fungi season
What a great weekend we had during April when we took to the roads and headed down to Mornington Peninsula and Cape Schanck for a weekend of photography and great company. Starting from our homes, our first stop was at Brighton Beach for the famous Bathing Boxes. From there we stopped at several places as
March saw us head Geelong way for an outing to Serendip Sanctuary looking for some wildlife and bird shots. The day was warm and we enjoyed a lovely walk around the Sanctuary looking out for both birds and wildlife in the wild (we were welcomed by several Emus at the entrance) and in the Habitats
We had a lovely time checking our Dog Rocks in the Mt Alexander Regional Park. The weather was lovely and the challenge for members was to practice shooting in Monochrome.
